Description: An Aftercooler Core is a component of an engine's cooling unit that helps to reduce the temperature of the compressed air produced by a turbocharger or supercharger before it enters the engine's combustion chamber. The Core is designed to maximize the surface area of the tubes, which allows for the efficient transfer of heat from the compressed air to the surrounding coolant. Applications: An Aftercooler Core acts as a heat exchanger in an engine's forced induction unit, mostly used in CAT 3524 and 3524B Engine (Piston), 797 and 797B Truck (Incl Truck Tractors).
