434-3167: Priming Fuel Pump

Description: A Priming Fuel Pump is used to pump sufficient fuel from the supply tank to the engine and push fuel into the injection system to enable the engine to be cold-started without excessive use of the electrical system which normally operates the fuel pump. Attributes: • Maximum check valve leakage is 50 cm3 at 6.2 PSI • Maximum air leakage at 150PSI is 2 cm3 • At 24V DC, minimum discharge at 1900kPa is 0.8 LPM Applications: A Priming Fuel Pump is integrated with the fuel filter, mostly used in Cat 12M, 140M, and 160M Motor Grader, 2506, 2506F, 2806, 2806F, C13, C15, C18, and C9.3 Engine (Piston), 336E and 349E Excavators, 735B and 740B Articulated Truck, 966K, 966M, 972M, 980, 980K, 980M, 982 and 982M Wheel Loader, C18 Engine-General Platform (C18), C18, XQ1140, XQ570 and XQP550 Generator Set, D6T and D7E Track Type Tractor, D6T PL72 Pipelayer.
