Description: Alternator pulleys allow alternators to be turned by belts, which are driven by the engine accessory drive systems. Cat pulleys are grooved between the flanges around its circumference to support belt drive systems. Attributes: • It has eight grooves on the pulley. • It is corrosion-resistant. Applications: The primary purpose of the alternator pulley is to provide mechanical power to the alternator, which generates electrical power to charge the battery and power the vehicle's electrical systems and it is widely used in Cat 3516, 3516B, 3516E, 3524, and 3524B Engine (Piston), 793D, 797 and 797B Truck.
