A Kit Retainer Consists of a Plug and Retainer. It is used to secure or hold parts in place. Retaining Pins, also called locking pins or quick-release pins, are cylindrical metal pins with a spring-loaded ball or detent mechanism. They are inserted through aligned holes in parts and locked into place, preventing accidental separation. Attributes: • Can absorb or dampen vibrations generated during tool operation • Prevents any accidental loosening or detachment during use Applications: A Kit Retainer is used for service and maintenance of the Retainer in the work tool.
