A Steering Cylinder converts pressurized fluid into mechanical force which is applied between the axle housing and steering arm to adjust the steering position. A hydraulic steering cylinder works by using a piston to move inside a sealed cylinder filled with hydraulic fluid. Attributes: • Provides a smooth and controlled steering action by absorbing road shock and vibration • Amplifies the force applied by the driver to the steering wheel Applications: A Steering Cylinder is used to transmit the force from the piston rod to the front wheels, turning them in the desired direction.
