471-2080: Engine Turbocharger

An Engine Turbocharger operates by utilizing the engine's exhaust gases. The Turbocharger consists of two parts the turbine and the compressor. As the Exhaust gases flow over the turbine wheel, they cause it to spin at high speeds, which in turn spins the compressor wheel and when the compressor wheel spins it draws in ambient air and compresses it before delivering it to the engine's intake manifold. Attributes: • Provided with a Turbine Wheel diameter of 111mm and a Compressor Wheel diameter of 118mm to handle more gas flow and produce enough air for combustion respectively • Turbine Wheel trim of 76mm and Compressor Wheel trim of 44mm allows for faster spool-up time and Efficient airflow Applications: An Engine Turbocharger is used in Internal combustion engines to increase their power output by forcing more air into the combustion chamber.
