A Brake Accumulator used in service brake lines stores hydraulic pressure to provide power-assisted braking. It is fitted in the hydraulic brake unit and works in conjunction with the master cylinder with one side coming in contact with hydraulic fluid, while the other side is in contact with compressed nitrogen gas for enhanced braking performance.
