A crankshaft adapter, also known as a main seal, is a mechanical seal that is used to prevent oil from leaking from the engine of a machine. It is located between the crankshaft and the engine block and is designed to rotate with the crankshaft while maintaining a seal. The purpose of the crankshaft seal is to keep engine oil contained within the engine, which lubricates and cools internal components and helps to reduce friction and wear. Attributes: ● 12 Holes of 10.5mm diameter and 2 holes of 5.2mm diameter provided. ● Flange with a 426.99mm diameter is provided for a tight fit. Applications: The crankshaft adapter is used to seal the crankshaft end with an engine block.
