Description: An Oil Cooler Core is a component of an engine's cooling unit that is designed to cool down the engine oil. It is a heat exchanger that uses the engine's coolant as a medium to absorb the heat from the oil and transfer it away from the Engine. The Oil Cooler Core typically consists of a set of small tubes that are tightly packed together with fins attached to the outside of the tubes. Attributes: • Steel plugs are torqued to 30 Nm on the cooler. • Maximum work pressure of the cooler is 410 psi. Applications: An Oil Cooler Core is used to maintain the temperature of the engine oil within a safe and optimal range, mostly used in Cat 611G, 615G, 631G, 633G, and 637G Wheel Tractor-Scrapers, 631G, and 637G Scrapers, D8, D8N, D8R, D9L, and D9N Track Type Tractors.
