587-4406: Rock Deflector

Description: Whisler plates, like part # 587-4406, are essentially "Static Beams" which are welded onto the base edge to help prevent the wear on the cast lip. During operation, these plates absorb and distribute the impact loads coming from the adapter. This protects the lips from deforming faster and brings down the rebuild costs. This plate is used with the bucket wear plate of certain Mining products. Cat plates are designed and manufactured with high standards such that they can function well without any failure. Cat plates are used in different applications that can match with the customer specifications.
