5L-5993: Engine Oil Pump

An Engine Oil Pump is used in an internal combustion engine's lubrication unit. The Pump is driven by the engine's crankshaft through a gear or chain mechanism. As the engine runs, the Pump draws oil from the Oil Pan and pressurizes it. The Pressurized Oil is then directed through the Oil Passage. Attributes: • Helps to regulate engine temperature and prevent engine overheating • Improves cold start performance Applications: An Engine Oil Pump is used to circulate Engine Oil throughout the Engine, ensuring that all the parts in the engine receive adequate lubrication, reducing friction and preventing excessive wear.
