614-2016: Undercarriage Track Idler

Description: A Track Idler is used in a tracked machine that helps to guide and support the track chain as it moves around the undercarriage. The Track Idler consists of a wheel or set of wheels that are mounted on a shaft and housed in a bracket. The bracket is attached to the machine's frame and allows the Track Idler to pivot up and down. The wheel or wheels of the Track Idler come into contact with the inside surface of the track chain and help guide it around the undercarriage.
