Cat® air cleaner elements are designed to remove dirt from the airstream before it enters the engine. Filters consist of Primary and Secondary elements. High-quality filter media allows high separation efficiency and extended service life. Primary media types can be synthetic, cellulose, or a combination of both. Primary filters are designed with either pleated or fluted media structure. They are offered in standard efficiency media and may also be available in ultra-high efficiency media which has a higher separation efficiency.
