A Relief valve is a component in hydraulic systems designed to protect the system from overpressure and provide safe and efficient operation of the hydraulic system by controlling and relieving excess pressure. It consists of two components the main valve and the pilot valve. The main valve is responsible for controlling the flow of hydraulic fluid, while the pilot valve senses the pressure and initiates the opening or closing of the main valve.
