A Gasket is a seal which fills the space between two or more mating surfaces, generally to prevent leakage from or into the joined objects while under compression. Gaskets use compression to provide a tight, leak free seal between mating parts. Cat gaskets are designed using the right combination of material and profile to deliver performance and application. Attributes: • Produced with precise thickness which is a significant reduction in the deformation and stresses. • Bound with mineral board Applications: Gaskets are used in various applications, these are anti-vibration, packaging, noise and sound reduction, and most importantly, its most common use, sealing.
