Cup Mounts consist of a cylindrical rubber bushing with an inner steel sleeve, press-fitted into an outer steel cup. Attributes: Cat® Mounting Systems are designed to reduce stress and strain on mounted components to increase their durability and performance life, and to contribute to operator comfort. The entire system (mount design, material selection, placement, hardware, etc.) is optimized and validated to meet specific application requirements. Cup Mounts are capable of supporting high radial loads while also controlling axial motion. Typically, they are installed into a cap-and-saddle supporting structure to aid installation and position the system.
