7W-1632: Internal Hex Plug

Description: 7W-1632 steel plugs are used to seal unused oil ports on the crankshafts of certain Cat engine models. Cat plugs are plain or threaded disks or cylinders used for sealing holes and ports on engine blocks, oil pans, and housings. Plugs are most generally used as shipping plugs or drain plugs. Plugs are designed to contain or to stop fluid flow and hold pressure when properly assembled. They are often used to permanently seal holes that are required for manufacturing or the assembly of internal components in engine blocks, valve bodies and other fluid system components.
