Description:The J400 heavy duty retainer assembly is a two-coil retainerwhich grips the pin much tighter than the standard pin and retainer. This coil-spring retainer absorbs side loads and eliminates retainer spread. The retainer cannot rotate when positioned properly, which reduces wear from abrasives between the pin and retainer.Our meticulous system design reduces pin-walking in applications where tip life is very long, pin and retainer wear has occurred or tip-side loading has caused retainer spreading. This heavy duty retainer holder is ivory colored to distinguish it from the standard retainer assembly that has a black retainer holder.Applications:• Use with certain Heavy Duty Pins• Designed to fit J400 tips and Adapters
