The Piston Pump Gasket is a seal that fills the space between two or more mating surfaces, generally to prevent leakage from or into the joined objects while under compression. It acts as an anti-vibration, packaging, noise, and sound reduction, and most importantly, its most common use, sealing. Gaskets use compression to provide a tight, leak-free seal between mating parts.
