Description: Link assemblies, driven by the sprocket and final drive, provide support for the machine weight, a rail for the machine to run on, and a place for the shoes to attach. Attributes: Sealed track has contact between the internal pin and bushing causing wear to begin immediately because of the friction between the two parts. This results in a significant increase of internal wear life of the link assembly. Grease Lubricated Track link assemblies are direct replacements for sealed link assemblies on Cat Hydraulic Excavator models. Belleville washers are springs shaped like a washer. They are used in Sealed Track to help keep the system sealed.
