The Swash Plate is a disc-shaped part that is connected to the drive shaft of the Axial Piston Pump. It is positioned at an angle to the shaft axis and is capable of rotating along the shaft. The plate has a series of angled grooves or pistons attached to it. When the drive shaft rotates, it causes the swash plate to tilt, which in turn pushes or pulls the pistons in the pump.
