Description: An Accumulator is a pressure storage reservoir that allows a hydraulic system to manage extreme system demands. Accumulators store pressure, allowing the hydraulic system to use less powerful pumps to respond to temporary quick demands for pressure. Warning: Consult your dealer for the proper procedures to relieve accumulator system pressure prior to servicing the accumulator. Failure to do so may result in injury or death. Attributes: • Refrigerant accumulator • Inlet and Outlet Ports: 1-1/16-28 UNF O-ring port • Charging Medium: Dry nitrogen Application: Cat® Accumulators may be used in a variety of applications including hydraulic systems, allowing the system to manage pressure spikes, an example of which might be a heavy load.
