1W-0942: Valve Actuator

The Valve Actuator consists of a jam nut, orifice plug, backup ring, piston, valve, accumulator, check valve, and plug body. The jam nut locks the orifice plug in place and prevents it from leaking. The orifice plug controls the flow of fluid into and out of the actuator. The backup ring prevents the orifice plug from backing out of the actuator. The piston converts hydraulic pressure into mechanical force to move the actuator rod. The valve controls the direction and flow of fluid to and from the piston.
