Description: A Spur Gear Motor is used in an air-to-air aftercooler to drive the cooling fan that circulates ambient air through the aftercooler to dissipate heat from the compressed air. They consist of two meshing gears, one driven by the hydraulic pressure and the other transferring the motion to the output shaft. The gears are precision machined to ensure smooth operation and minimal wear. The gear teeth profile can be spur-shaped, and the displacement of a gear motor is the volume of fluid that the motor can move per revolution.
