287-8089: M16 Straight Adapter

A Straight adapter is used in pipe systems for connecting straight sections of pipe or tube, adapted to various shapes or sizes, and for other purposes such as regulating fluid flow. The terms male and female always refer to the threads on the fitting. The male threads are on the outside like a bolt. The female threads' female fittings are on the inside like a nut. Attributes: • Manufactured from brass, which can withstand high temperatures. • Hex shape of the adapter allows for better grip. • Provides hose bead for 12.7mm nominal inner diameter hose.
