Description:Caterpillar thermoplastic hose is intended to conduct liquid and gaseous refrigerant in automotive air conditioning systems. This hose meets SAE standards for Type-D hose concerning Freon permeation and moisture ingression. Acceptable for use with Freon-12 and Freon-R134A.Attributes:• Bulk unit of measure: Inch• Hose ID: 10.32 mm (0.406 in)• Hose dash size: -8• Max Working Pressure: 3400 kPa (500 psi)• Temperature Range: -30° C to +125° C (-422 F to +248° F)• Thermoplastic tube, textile braid, elastomeric cover• For use with crimp-on permanent, non-skive type couplingsApplication:Refrigerant hose for automotive air conditioning applications.
