352-2142: Engine Water Pump

The Water Pump is designed to circulate water in the cooling unit. It consists of an Impeller, mounted on the shaft, that creates a centrifugal force, drawing water into the pump and then propelling it outward, and a housing that encloses the impeller and creates a chamber where the water is drawn in and expelled. Bearings are used to support and facilitate smooth rotation of the shaft and impeller. Fasteners are used to hold various components of the water pump together providing stability. Seals and Gaskets are used to prevent water leakage from the pump Attributes: • Designed to withstand vibrations and stresses generated within the pump • Leak tested to withstand 138kPa of air pressure • Can withstand high pressure and temperature • Manufactured to precise specifications and are built for durability and reliability • Sealed to prevent external contamination Applications: The Water Pump ensures the continuous flow of water to maintain the optimum temperature of the engine.
