Description: A Restriction Indicator is a device that is designed to measure and monitor the level of airflow through an air filter. As the air filter becomes clogged with dirt and debris over time, the airflow through the filter is reduced, causing a drop in air pressure upstream of the filter. The sensor or switch detects this drop in pressure and activates the warning light or gauge to alert the operator that the air filter requires cleaning or replacement. Attributes: • Designed to withstand harsh environmental conditions, such as high temperatures, and vibrations. • Provided with an operating temperature of -40 °C to 125 °C. • Available in different voltage ratings, ranging from 12V to 24V. Applications: A Restriction Indicator is used to provide a signal to the operator when the air filter becomes clogged with dirt and debris, mostly used in Cat 216, 216B, 226, 226B, 232B, 232D, 236D, 239D, 242B, 242D, 246D, 247B, 257B, 257D, 259D, 262D, 272D, 272D3, 277D, 279D, 287D, 289D, 297D, 299D, and 299D3 Skid Steers, 259D and 287D CB7, CB8, CC7, CP34, CP5, CS34, CS5, and CW12 Compactor.
