432-1403: C4.4 Engine Pressure Sensor Manifold

The Engine Pressure Sensor Manifold mounts on the engine block and measures the vacuum of the intake manifold, which fluctuates according to engine load, relative to the barometric pressure. This information is used by the engine's electronic control unit to calculate air density and determine the engine's air mass flow rate. The electronic control unit uses the information from the manifold pressure sensor to calculate the amount of fuel that needs to be delivered to the engine.
