Description: A sound suppression enclosure, also known as a soundproofing or noise reduction enclosure, is installed in an excavator to reduce the noise generated by the machine during its operation. This enclosure is designed to contain and absorb the sound waves produced by the engine, hydraulics, and other components, thereby reducing the noise levels both inside and outside the excavator. Attributes: • Effective at reducing noise transmission. • Designed to completely enclose the engine and other noisy components. • Have well-designed access points. • Sealed properly to minimize sound leakage. Applications: A sound suppression enclosure is used to reduce noise levels from the engine and it is mainly used in Cat 325F, 325F LCR, and 349F LXE - Excavators.
