Description: A Pack shim is a thin piece of material that is used to adjust the clearance between two mating surfaces in a mechanical assembly. The pack shim is used between the lock plate and lower cap to adjust the height and angle of the hitch ball. Pack Shim is used to control the bearing preload of the lower hitch.
