Description: A Gear Pump is a rotary positive displacement pump in which two gears mesh to provide the pumping action. The Gear Pump consists of two identical meshing gears working in a fine clearance inside a casing. The fluid is carried around between the gears from the suction pipe to the delivery pipe. Attributes: • Discharge per revolution is 19cc • Rotation is counterclockwise when viewed at the end of the drive shaft • Maximum continuous pressure is 18500kPa (2683PSI) • Speed at 18500kPa is in the range of 500RPM to 3250RPM • Provided with double FPM shaft seal to prevent the leakage of fluid from the rotating shaft Applications: A Gear Pump is used in Engine Cooling mostly used in Cat 938G, 950G, 962G, IT38G, and IT62G Wheel Loader, TR16, and TR28 Powertrain.
