550-6653: Temperature Sensor

Description: Cat heavy duty temperature sensors, such as 550-6653, use thermocouples for sensing temperature. The sensor electronic module is aluminum with a pigtail connector. The sensor harness is protected by glass fiber sheathing and stainless steel braiding. Heavy duty temperature sensors are available as passive sensors or active sensors with PWM output. Attributes: • Temperature Range: -40° to +1095° C (-40° to +2000° F) • Connector Type: 2 Position DT • Output Type: Thermocouple (Type K) • Probe Count: 1 • Length: 1120 mm (44 in) Applications: Heavy duty temperature sensors are primarily used on engine exhaust ports and on the turbo inlet and outlet.
