Description: A Sleeve Bearing is a bearing that is designed to reduce friction between two moving surfaces. The lubrication groove is a feature that is added to the inner surface of the sleeve bearing. This groove is designed to hold a small amount of lubricating oil that is distributed evenly around the bearing surface. Attributes: • The lubrication groove helps to dissipate heat. • Material is hardened to Rockwell Hardness of 59 to 64 HRC. Application: A Sleeve Bearing is used to provide low friction, smooth operation under heavy loads, mostly used in Cat 313D2 Excavators.
