600-1586: Shim Kit

Description: A Shim is to prevent damage to the surface being fastened. By distributing the load over a larger surface area, the shim helps to prevent the fastener from digging into the surface or causing it to deform. The thickness of a washer can also vary, with thinner shim often used in applications where space is limited. This Kit Shim contains a variety of shims ranging in size from 2.5mm to 3.4mm thick to service and repair the differential. Attributes: • Provide a larger surface area to spread the load and prevent damage to the surface. • Prevent the loosening of the fastening device. • Prevent excess movement of the components.
