A Round Gasket is a seal which fills the space between two or more mating surfaces, generally to prevent leakage from or into the joined objects while under compression. Gaskets use compression to provide a tight, leak free seal between mating parts. Attributes: • Manufactured not to deform and not degrade or break down over time and extremes temperature. • Prevent leakage from or into the joined objects while under compression. Applications: A Round Gasket is used in various applications, these are anti-vibration, packaging, noise and sound reduction, and most importantly, its most common use of sealing.
