A Reducing Bushing also referred to as a reducer bushing, is used to reduce or increase a pipe thread size. Hex Reducers provide a male pipe x female pipe thread connection for a reduction in connection sizes. A Reducing Bushing is also known as a shock bushing as well as a vibration isolator that gives an advantage between two parts without any lubrication.
